Ballet Dancers

Studio Policies

Miss Robin’s Dance, Etc. is pleased to offer the highest quality dance education in the Greater Manchester Area. As such, we need our students and parents/guardians to adhere to the following policies.  If you have any questions or need to discuss any of our policies, please see your child's dance instructor.

Class Make-Ups

Please notify MRDE when your student is unable to attend classes. There is no refund for missed classes and they may not be accumulated and taken in lieu of tuition. Missing a class during preparation for an upcoming performance is difficult to make up, as we are working on choreography.  The student is responsible for learning his/her missed group choreography by the next class.

Dropping Classes

If you wish to drop a class, you are responsible for notifying MRDE in writing. Please do not assume that the teacher will take care of the matter or that we will assume you have dropped. You are responsible for class tuition until we receive written notification that you are dropping the class. This can be sent directly to Miss Robin (rldanceetc@gmail.com)

Class Etiquette

Consistency and punctuality complement and enhance the overall learning experience. We ask that your child not be late for class. Tardiness disrupts the work and progress of your dancer and all other students.  We ask that your child arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of each class so he/she can be prepared and ready for class.

*Instructors reserve the right to dismiss any student who repeatedly disrupts their class or fails to adhere to dress code.

Safety

The well-being of our students is our utmost concern. You must escort young dancers back and forth from the car. Dancers waiting for a ride are asked to remain inside the studio. MRDE is not responsible for students once they leave the premises.

For safety purposes, dancers should always wear street shoes to and from the studio.

*MRDE is not responsible for injuries incurred in class.

Tuition

Classes are non-refundable and non-transferable to other students, services, or retail items.

Tuition is due on the first of each month. Any tuition paid after the first of the month is subject to a $50 late fee.

Returned check fee is $35.

Registration Fee

Annual registration fee is $35 per student and due with the tuition payment in September.

Annual Performance

Performing is an extremely important aspect of a dancer's training and experience.  Students at MRDE have the opportunity to perform each year in our annual performance, as well as at community events throughout the year.

Competition

By invitation only, teachers will place each student in the appropriate class based off of observations.  Dancers interested in competition need to take at least two core classes (ballet, tap or jazz).

Class Enrollment Recommendation

It is highly recommended that students ages 7 and up take more than one class per week to ensure maximum progress and development.

Security

Purses, jewelry, and other valuables should not be left unattended in the studio. MRDE is not responsible for loss or theft of personal items.
