Lyrical

Lyrical combines the many technical elements of classical ballet with the freedom, fluidity, and expressiveness of jazz, contemporary and modern dance. It is focused on conveying musicality and emotion through movement.

** Advancement

Our primary focus is always to have a student placed in a level that is appropriate to each individual's proficiency and physical strength.  Advancement may occur at any time, however on average students are expected to remain in a level for a minimum of one year.  Your child may or may not be promoted every year.  If a child is promoted too soon, he/she will miss very valuable training.  Also, the child will struggle in the next level, which is unnecessary and could result in injury. A student who carefully develops his/her technique early in the curriculum will find advancement in later years to be smoother and more rewarding.
